Point deductions would have changed the cards, if they had been administered by Weeks. Acting like Danny's tactics didn't help him is just denial, plain and simple. Clinching Matts when he got close and hitting him low enough helped him win.

Are they the ONLY reason he won? No, I'm not saying that and I never have been. But they played a role in the outcome and to claim otherwise is either A. You hate Lucas' fans and how vocal we were prior to the fight or B. it's really A, but you don't want to admit it.

I agree. The number 1 reason Lucas lost is not even that Danny can hit. Lucas took the shots fine considering he took some clean ones. Its Danny's granite chin.

With all that said, if Danny is gonna aim low, then as a fan (and i was rooting for Lucas, but thought Danny would take it), it does give me a seed of doubt. What if Lucas had retaliated? I wish the ref had done what the ref in Floyd fight did. We wouldn't have to have this discussion.

when guys fight ward, floyd, danny or any boxer posters say to win you have to get rough, elbow, grab etc. Make it a brawl. So if Hatton, ghost, lucas, froch etc do this to win well its ok. But when the does it then its a problem?

Bhop and Angel taught danny exactly how to deal with a grimey bully. Lucas did the same **** he did vs petersen only danny was prepared. Then , danny decided to ramp it up and do it better. Danny gave lucas some philly thuggin and Lucas couldn't deal with it.

Yes, weeks missed times to penalize danny. he missed times to penalize lucas, but they were not as frequent or as purposeful as danny.

But its simple for me, if lucas' plan was to beat up danny and make it a tough fight don't whine when danny uses the same strategy don't get mad.

Power fighters? Guillermo Rigondeaux is one of my favorites, I can appreciate boxing at the highest level. Because I like Lucas, a power puncher, doesn't mean that's the only style I watch or like.

I've repeatedly given Danny credit for the win. Even JSFD26 did, but everyone is going to continue to push that we back Lucas to win and that we're "hating " Garcia, while making Danny's rules infractions seem okay because of that.

DSG deserved to win and fought a smart fight. I'm not denying that, I'm just saying it's 1-soft warning, 2-hard warning, 3-point deduction, 4-2 point deduction, 5-disqualification. Weeks messed up, Garcia took what he was given.
