Comments Thread For: Tyson Fury Angered - Vows To Brutalize and Retire Haye

Tyson Fury claims he is going to be 'brutal' with David Haye. The heavyweight pair were due to fight at Manchester Arena on Saturday but Haye pulled out at the weekend after picking up a facial cut while sparring.

The contest is now set to take place at the same venue on February 8.

Fury, 24, said: “When I finally get him in the ring I am going to be brutal with him.

“We totally disbelieve the injury situation and think they’ve pulled a fast one by getting the fight postponed.

This supposed fight is turning into a disaster -- HBO already lost one of the triple-header for Saturday night... If middleweight Vera is afraid to fight a light heavyweight Chavez Jr. HBO faces big embarrassment...

This could work in Fury's favor. He definitely needs more experience. At least he now has time to prepare and get better sparring partners (Cunningham wasn't good enough).

He has every right to be angry. Fury is a man of his word and it will come to me as no surprise when I see Haye laid out on the canvas in convulsions.

I like both fighters and I was gutted when the show got cancelled but im just glad I can still use my ticket on the new date.

Fury is kidding himself Haye is not scared of him and will beat him.

The only way Fury wins if he hits Haye first but I cant see it because of hayes speed

Was really looking forward to this fight and obviously gutted it got called off, cant believe Haye would go that far to get out of it but there's always something with him... Anyway both these two should leave the trashtalk till the new year, its getting boring now.
