If someone beat Mayweather in the next 5 fights does it make them an instant ATG?

Since Mayweather is regarded by many as a sure-fire All Time Great fighter, would a fighter that beats him become an instant ATG? Mayweather has 5 fights left with Showtime, if he were to lose one of those 5 fights, would the boxer who beats him become an instant ATG purely by defeating Mayweather, regardless of their previous record?

Depends on how they beat Mayweather, what Mayweather turns up in the ring, and what else they have done with their career. Generally speaking I think the answer would be no, the type of fighters I'm picturing the victory pushing over the edge are individuals like Marquez- fighters who you can already argue are ATG.

No you need an excellent resume and Floyd would put you over the top. For example if JMM KO'd Floyd, he would be in (if you don't consider him one already). If Canelo had knocked him out, he would still have a lot of work to do.
