I can't put all the blame on Chavez. Stuff like this happens because people around him allow it to. Arum of all people should have a little more integrity and stop acting like he can just make an announcement due to what Chavez weighs the day before the fight. It's a sham and pathetic how Vera has to be dragged along with all this nonsense

Arum said they will see what fighters weigh tomorrow, then go from there

The fact that they have to see what Chavez's weight is before they decide on what the fight weight will be is disturbing! What Arum is saying is that if Chavez has been too lazy and undisciplined to get down close to 168, the contracted weight for the fight, they will change the weight. If he is too lazy and undisciplined to get close to 175, they will move it up to 180. What a crock of sh.t!
