But roy did move up and was still out weighed, put in who you want,
Even walker smith went to 175.

Floyd gets to use every excuse .

Hes definitely going to go undefeated thats for sure. He avoids fighters in their primes and catches them when their suspect or has them move up in weight.

Man if he had those on his resume YES he retires for sure as one of the greatest Top 5 maybe even Top 3 but he avoided lets see 1,2,3,4, of those fighters in their primes and isnt going to fight Martinez...

Floyd is the master at defense in and out of the ring.. Blows smoke and mirrors in peoples face to avoid he biggest fight in boxing history. We all should of known Floyd was never going to fight Pacman in 09-12.. Pac was in his prime then..

You can tell Floyd's state of mind has changed since he came back from retirement. He now has in mind being the greatest ever.
-He's now fighting back to back fights in a year
-He's fought a young, hyped bigger opponent in Canelo who everyone including myself thought he would duck, but he took him on right away and embarrased him
-Reconciled w his dad back in to bring back his defense quickness

I can consider him one of the all time greats if he fights either Pacquiao OR Martinez (or even pipe dream/not logical = Bernard Hopkins) this coming 2014 and embarasses/beats them as well
Theres no one else legitimate for him to fight now, PLEASE dont say GGG, WARD, Matthyse, Garcia. Those guys are from a different era and he beat one in Canelo

Floyd mayweather --- talented , overated
              And a cherry picker too.

His fights after oscar are garbage .
              BS fights.

Name a guy ill tell you the true tale
,stop acting like floyd is down for whatever.
Guy fights garbage fighters for big money.
All hype vs guys everyone knows he cant lose to.

Canelo ,lmao. That dude is inexperienced amd he needed a catchweight

Even stephen breadman edwards thinks floyd missed, ducked and avoided
              And faught inferior comp

The thing about being the greatest ever is that it can't be proven and it's strickly a matter of the opinion of each fan. All the fans and experts never agree 100% on who is the greatest of all time or even the greatest of all time in any given weight class. Some boxing fans already think Floyd is the greatest of all time. Most fans don't think he is as great as Ray Robinson and they never will no matter what he does in his last 4 fights. I think Floyd is a great fighter and I was impressed by how easily he defeated Canelo who is one of my favorite fighters. I don't consider Mayweather the lineal Jr. middleweight champion because he won that title at a top weight of 152 and that is not the weight limit of the Jr. middleweight division. If he had defeated Canelo at the full 154 pound limit I would consider him the lineal champ of that division. That is just my personal standard and I am not just talking about Floyd. I don't think any world title should be fought at anything but the top weight for that class and especially not lineal titles. I really don't think of Martinez as the true middleweight champ any more although most fans do. He is not fighting the best middleweights any more and I don't think he will ever fight GGG who I believe is the best middleweight in the world today. If Floyd fights Martinez for the lineal middleweight title what would the weight limit be? 152 pounds? 154 pounds? 157 pounds? That might make him the new champ if he wins for many fans. It won't make him the lineal champ for me unless the weight limit is the full 160 pounds. Can anybody name a lineal title in the past that was won at a catvhweight?

He should have fought Pac when Pac was hot. As for Sergio hes cooled slightly as well, but it would be a very good win for Floyd if he could beat Sergio at 160.
GGG, Garcia are a different era, but these are the people he has to fight, as he went AWOL, when it counted, so hes lumbered with having to fight these guys?
In the same way DLH and Mosely and Hernandez, weren't really of Floyds era,Floyd wanted to make a name off of these guys backs. So the young pups should be able to make their name off of Floyds back.

Pacquiao is still our time's greatest,8 weight division champ, he has Barrera, Marquez, Morales, on his resume with and incredible run at +140, literally BEAT down the champ Diaz at 140, KTFO Hatton with ease, Put a beating and Dropped Cotto, Beat Margarito, should've had a W against Bradley, Had Mosley literally SCARED for 12 rounds, threw 1000+ punches against Clottey, ....Thats GREATNESS. ANd went down like a champ who ACTUALLY dared to be Great.

while i considered Mayweather as the most skilled of our genereation, theres just something missing for him to be the greatest.

Yes, hes a bit samey, and too specialized in doing one thing only. But no ko power and lands more than his opponent while throwing less, but not throwing many punches all the same.
