Ward-Mayweather will never happen. Mayweather-Darchinyan is more likely!

I think you are wrong about just about everything you said. First Mayweather is the best fighter in the world but he can't pass the tourch to Broner or Garcia and declare them the new best welterweight in the world. They have to prove they are the best welterweights in the world and with guys like Thurman, Bradley, Maidana, Alexander, Pacquiao and Marquez around I don't think they are the best at 147 even with Mayweather fighting at a higher weight. Where were you when Mayweather refused to go an ounce over a 152 catchweight to fight 154 pounder Alvarez? Now he is going to agree to fight Ward at 164? Forget about it. Floyd can't fight at his best coming in the ring any heavier than 150. He is no bigger than some 140 pounders.Ward probably would come into the ring weighing about 180 so he would outweigh Floyd by about 30 pounds so that fight is not happening. Where is it written in stone that Lara beats Canelo? I think Canelo would do to Lara what Angulo almost did. I think Mayweather will finish his career as an undefeated fighter in the welterweight devision. If he fights any middleweights he will make them come down to 152 or 154 at the most.

These are possible scenarios in a timeline:

Floyd will pass the torch on Danny Garcia at Adrien Broner at the welterweight division rather than fighting them, I see Garcia vs Broner more realistically happening.

Lara will win impressively against Canelo and possibly knock him out to send a message for Floyd, Lara will be hard-pressed to get a fight with Mayweather.

Gennady Golovkin, like Lara, is just not the kind of opponent for Floyd to consider fighting, Mayweather will take a chance and go for the ultimate, super bowl, taking on the best 168lbs champion Andre Ward at a catch weight, they prefer 160 but the Ward camp says No, at 164 pound limit, Yes they'l agreed upon.

Manny Pacquiao will regain his status as still the most sought-after opponent for Mayweather, but Bob Arum will continue to have more white hair on not gettting what he wants and Pacman will be left in limbo, without no one to fight while Mayweather will become the richest athlete in history.

Ward vs Mayweather, will Floyd finally met his waterloo.
                Dumbass alert!
