They're pro fighters, they do't need any forgiveness from these weak individuals. But I do think Ortiz get's it pretty bad from clowns he would thrash in real life.Comment

Computer programmers program for a living. Teachers teach for a living. Cops police for a living. Actors act for a living. Boxers box for a living. Just like anyone any other job in the world, boxers are held accountable for their performances and actions. If you do a terrible job/ fuck up majorly in some way and expect to continue working in your field, you damn well better hope you're forgiven and given another chance. This is equally true for boxers as it is for any other profession.
Fans ultimately pay for a fighters salary. If a fighter does something boxing fans generally don't approve of (like jumping out a ring, faking injuries, missing weight, quitting, running, clinching, or whatever else), we have the right to be be angry for wasting our hard earn money on them. Sure we're sitting out fat asses down during the fight, but people have day jobs where they bust their asses to pay to watch these fights. If boxers expect us to keep on watching and paying for them after they put on terrible performances, of course they need to be forgiven.Last edited by DoktorSleepless; 09-23-2013, 06:43 PM.Comment

I forgive Mike Tyson for biting Holyfield's ear. I didn't watch boxing for about 3 years after that. I missed alot of good fights because of it.
I saw the two of them talking about it yesterday on Tyson's new show. You can tell there is still some hurt feelings about it but it's good to see the two of them become friends.Comment
