What are you all going to say when Haye sparks him in dos rounds?

This is matthysse/garcia all over again.

Haye didn't want the fight so he cut himself badly?

Is it not unusual that he was sparring so close to the fight?

        It does seem dodgy.

Fury was on TV two weeks ago saying his sparring was complete.

I feel really sorry for Tyson Fury. I am now rooting for him even if I am desperately waiting for a Vitali Klitschko-David Haye fight. Daiv d Haye is still, unfortunately, the favourite in this fight.

David Haye said two weeks before the Wlad fight that his sparring was over. I wibder why he sparred obe week before Tyson Fury. The problem with Haye is that you never know if he is playing dirty tactics or not. I hope one daye he'll become humble so that we can really enjoy what this boxer is all about. Unfortunately, David Haye is nothing else but a princess that can box very well.

Not really, most fighters stop sparring 7-10 days before, some spar up until a couple of days before. I know Haye usually stops around a week before, which fits in pretty well with the 9 days this time.

It was obviously just a freak incident, which is very disappointing, but we'll just have to wait a bit and look forward to Wlad-Povetkin, Groves-Froch and Alexander-Khan.

Aren't fighters allowed to train when they want anymore? He could spar the day before if he wanted to, it's his choice.

different strokes for different strokes I suppose.

Seems foolish though with the amount of money involved. Glad I ducked out of buying a ticket at the last moment or I would be crushed right now.

I can't imagine Mayweather with $40 million like he earned in his last fight would even risk hitting the bag.

'Injuries' like these can be done to look very convincing with nowadays make up artists and sci fi effects. Who knows? Guy always has his tricks and excuses.

Probably not, but I wouldn't put anything past him. I think if an extra £2 million was on the table for later in the year Haye would happily cut himself.

The injury might be genuinely bad but Haye is the boy who cried wolf when it comes to this sort of thing, no one believes him even when he tweets a picture of a cut.

Matthysse and Garcia never pulled out of their fight, they signed up and made it happen when it was supposed to happen.

It's almost disrespectful to those two by putting a conman like Haye in the same sentence.
