Shouldn't be hard for any of these guys to secure a fight with Molina, so where is everybody at. This guy holds the key to the big stage. These fighters need to be breaking down his doors offering terms left and right.

Who's contacted the champ and why isn't there any news going around?? He's the last legitimate title holder left. I'm surprise my boy Trout hasn't stormed Molina's home on bending knees. If he secures that fight he's killed 2 birds with 1 stone. If he wins, he's got a bargaining tool for a Canelo rematch. Same for every other top jr middleweight.

Lara is the WBA interim champ so I doubt he risks losing a fight with Floyd to fight Molina. However, he probably should because the IBF belt would be a better bargaining chip to get a Mayweather fight.

Trout is having issues with his ex manager. That's a huge disappointment because he'll probably be on the shelf until its resolved. This would be a perfect opportunity for Trout to get back in the mix.

I think Canelo or Cotto (if he wins) is the most likely choice for Molina. He'll probably be in search of a lucrative fight at this stage of his career. I think we'll finally see 154 sort itself out now that all the top fighters have suffered defeats.

despite getting a belt, Molina hurt himself with that Smith fight
he's a tough guy to beat anyway, plus his style sucks
was hoping for a Lara rematch before, not so much now
Alvarez is gonna want an easy bounce back fight
Trout might fight him since he has nothing to lose
Cotto's shot and wouldn't go near Molina
Angulo might fight him if he cant get a Lara rematch
just can't see anybody lining up for Molina after the Smith stinker

Former 154-pound titleholder Austin Trout is suing promoter Greg Cohen, claiming that Cohen got in the way of Trout potentially appearing on the pay-per-view undercard to Floyd Mayweather’s fight with Canelo Alvarez, among other potential bouts. The litigation was filed Sept. 12 and reported on by legal publication The Southeast Texas Record, then expanded on by New Mexico newspaper the Albuquerque Journal. Trout claims that his contract with Greg Cohen Promotions ended earlier this year, but that Cohen nevertheless told Showtime executives that they needed to negotiate with him regarding Trout’s next fight — or else he would take the network to court, the Record reported. “As a result of Cohen’s actions, Showtime’s negotiations with Trout ended,” the legal publication quoted the litigation as saying. “Cohen not only fraudulently misrepresented his relationship with Trout to Showtime, but has also misguided several other prominent people in the boxing industry by asserting that no one may negotiate or attempt to arrange any fights with Trout unless expressly approved by Cohen.”

It sounds like he may be out until this issue is resolved.

Molina's like Christian Slater. He sucks, but he's good at the same time.

He looks like an amateur, but he beats guys.
