Alfredo “El Perro” Angulo has fully recovered from an eye injury and is hoping to return by the end of the year, according to the junior middleweight contender.
“They’re working for me to come back in December. They haven’t mentioned any names,” the 31-year-old Angulo told BoxingScene.com. “My face is normal now.”
In his last fight three months ago for an interim 154-pound belt, Angulo (22-3, 18 KOs) had floored Erislandy Lara (18-1-2, 12 KOs) in the fourth and ninth rounds, gearing up for one final push in the championship rounds.
