I'm a big Cotto fan but he's contradicting himself regarding the catchweight. Immediately after the fight when asked by Larry merchant if the weight was the factor, Cotto response was "no I felt fine. It was his speed. I didn't know where the punches were coming from". Now he wants to claim that the Catchweight effected him. Which one is it? Was it the speed or the weight?

Who says anything right after a fight , It was both , Cotto didn't say anything until he was gone from Top rank , and Manny came out and called him out for a rematch , then Cotto said ok but no CW because he will never do to his body like that again for another fighter , Manny refused to fight him without a CW and that was that .

When your are under contract you are obligated to watch what you say , if you research into the making of the Pac fight , Cotto said he was pressured to take the fight at a CW of 145 after Pac wanted 143 in the beginning , at one point Cotto was not putting the title on the line , Arum definitely favored his cash cow in the deal , same with Rios , Arum is throwing Brandon under the bus , same with Bradley he even said Arum threw him under the bus in the post Manny fight .

Cotto Margo Bradley and now Rios were all set up for Manny by Arum .

So Manny comes into the gym he trains at and sees Cotto and now they are friends , sounds like a diplomatic , he wont go to 154 and Im not going to 147 thing .

Nothing wrong if they don't drain the opponent , if they do they are no good at all , and you don't know until after the fight when you can see the result of the CW , and any rematch following a CW should waiver the CW if the guy coming down lost , like this fight should be at Cottos weight if they went again , same Dawson Ward if they went again it should be a Dawsons weight .
