read the first page and see why Cotto's fanbase is straight Garbage.

Marquez's highest ever weight was 143 While Cotto is thinking about making a run at Middleweight. Not to mention Marquez is 40.

And they have the audacity to call it a duck lol

Why would Cotto fight a guy coming off of a loss?

If this is true, this is a grade A bitch move!!
it doesnt matter anyway, cotto said he is staying at 154. i think thats a bit daft but its up to him i guess.

was hoping for a marquez vs cotto at 147 tho, that would be epic.

No, it is like saying Cotto ducked Martinez at 154.

you guys understand that fighters want to get paid to box, right?

this type of rhetoric leverages deals. they all want more money. you wouldn't put it into the media otherwise, because it makes your fighter look bad in the eyes of casual fans.

Cotto already said that he's never going back to 147.

Former three division world champion Miguel Cotto (37-4, 30KOs) has no interest in moving back down to the welterweight division. A few days ago on BoxingScene

That statement doesn't matter because Cotto said himself he won't go to 147 and has been looking at 160 for a while

Since Canelo got schooled all the Cotto fanboys are out in full force boy. I love the guy, but his die hards need to forget about welterweights and worry about Cotto (wanting) to fight Martinez. That take balls but the beating will be brutal.

This would be a great fight but it's not happening. Marquez is fearless in my eyes but everyone has limits. He's a really small welterweight. Cotto is huge. Plus Cotto said he's not returning to WW. This will remain a great fantasy fight.
