    Rafael Marquez Retires.

“It’s time to stop and review my life with my family. Time to accept that there are no reasons to continue in boxing. I was in some very difficult fights and is best to leave this to a consciously made decision with my family. It’s time to say goodbye. Boxing gave me the best for my family,” Marquez said.

Bout time, he should have retired after the Nishioka fight.

that's a good decision. he looked a thousand years old in his last fight. it looked like somebody else had control of his legs.

gotta wish him the best. his first three fights with vasquez are about as good as you will ever see.

He was one of my favorite fighters allways in a exciting fights, a beast in his prime one of the best 118 pounders ever.

It was a hell of a career, criminally underrated fighter (at least on here).

Time to spend time with the family Rafa.

I hope he sticks with this decision unlike many other boxers. Good luck to Rafa.
