For Those That Don't Know Skelton Was World Champ At Kick Boxing So Imagine Him Also Becoming World Champ IN BOXING....but His Kick Boxing Stance Should Mean He Can Take A Punch.

He'll Definately Win No Doubt About It.

Lets Compare Skeltons Last 7 Fights and Williams Last 7 Fights:

While you might have something in terms of Danny's decline, Skelton's record flatters him greatly. He's NOT a one-punch KO artist like Williams can be, and while his chin has been solid so far, he's never faced anyone with Danny's firepower.

Clearly the names on Danny's recent record - Vitali Klitschko and even a shot Tyson - far outstrip anyone Skelton has faced.

The Michael Sprott points loss for Danny/TKO in the 12th for Skelton is also highly misleading.

Danny is boxing's biggest mind ****... he'd already fought and laid out Sprott TWICE. COLD, too, not just a TKO after being leant on for twelve rounds. The night he "lost" he was still beating Sprott (who was battered by the end of it) but showboated away too many of the rounds.

It should also be noted that this was a time when British title fights were scored by the referee only, not three judges, so it was one man's (the ever-popular Dave Parris) opinion that he "lost". Even Sprott didn't think he'd won.

While I'm on the subject (I'm not having a go at you btw, TG, I'm just climbing on Danny's nuts ready for the fight) I should point out that the scores were for Williams: 113-114, 116-112, 116-113

So even WITHOUT the knockdown (and let's assume that the knockdown won Danny that round) the scores would have been 112-116, 115-114, 115-115, a draw. And that's assuming the KD got Danny the round.

I have some faith in Danny, I think he'll win by a poor KO in the 12th.

One thing, IMO, every one agrees on, is that Williams got one hell of a chin and one hell of a heart. He stood against Tyson's storm in the first round and took unbelievable beating from Klitschko for 8 rounds and never gave up. I don't know much about Skelton but from what I read his only advantage is to rough up his opponents, which will not work with Williams. I see it as a UD for Williams. I also think Williams could KO Valuev if that fight ever happens.
