Other than that, Groves is questioning Frochs logic and making out as if Froch isn't as clever as he is a fighter. Rather Froch may be a great fighter but his logic is lacking someteimes.
Yes exactly, and I find that quite off putting. Especially from someone who "dared" to think he could beat Joe Calzaghe when he was just a british champion and ranked lower at the time than Groves is now.

As if Groves was supposed to come and say: "I don't think I have much of a chance to be honest. Froch has beaten guys way better than me, he dropped me in sparring 3 years ago and I have a glass chin".

It is lacking sometimes, like when he says he didn't get beat by Kessler because he avenged his loss 3 years later - I mean, come on. Froch is doing the same now, to a worse extent, than what he claimed Joe Calzaghe was doing back in 2007.

One thing that annoys me a little about Froch at the moment is that he's referring to himself as a "superstar". That's just cringeworthy. He's been on one PPV fight, which Groves also mention.

Froch is not a PPV fighter in his own right, but is with the right opponent.
Getting dropped in sparring isn't a big deal when you're about to fight people like Sierra or Baker Barakat....it's a bit different when you are preparing to fight Froch. He can get hurt with headgear on, Froch knows this and has dropped him, Carl will walk him down and smash him.

Froch is now a PPV attraction, he is a MAJOR star at this point. The fact that he can go PPV with Groves shows this; Groves is a nobody, Froch is a star.

I don't agree at all. Dropping a 21 year old with 11 pro fights in sparring is nothing to judge by to be honest, and as Groves said, the public isn't really told about what happened subsequently.

I think he's a PPV attraction as well, but not if he fought someone like Yusuf Mack again. He's not like David Haye was pre klitschko, or Amir Khan was before he lost those fights. He's not on that level, in terms of public interest. But with the right opposition, Ward, Kessler, GGG, Hopkins or a domestic rival like Groves, he will be on PPV.

Groves is rated #5 by the ring magazine, and headlined PPV before Froch did. He is not a nobody. But I'm not sure he's ready for Froch.

I think Groves will surprise some people even in defeat. I really like Groves but I think fighting Froch at this point of his career is a bad decision that could damage his career if he gets stopped in a one sided fight.

It's not about the 21 year old before, it's about Groves in general. Rumour suggests he was dropped in sparring again just before Kessler-Froch II...if you keep getting put down in sparring with headgear on and massive gloves, your chin is a real problem. Froch knows about his chin and will crack it.

Groves-DeGale was the notable period for Groves, since then his popularity has regressed with dud opponent after dud opponent. After the Bute win, Froch became a massive name. After beating Kessler, he is now as big/popular as any fighhter in Britain. From this stage he is a PPV star, against anyone.

Groves will run and hope for a decision. There's no way he trades with Froch.

The fight is going to suck
