Not sure how anyone can complain about this. You're not forced to watch and you're not dishing out any extra money to have HBO do a face-off with this fight. This is a championship fight between two guys Who have already been in potential FOTY fights this year and this is sure to be another one.

I hear you- but both men have been on ridiculously entertaining fights on HBO this year already so surely HBO understands this will most likely be another one, perfect time to give some extra hype/promotion after the Cotto-Rodriguez fight, which will probably attract some viewers who might have not known about this fight (casual boxing, Cotto fans)
The more boxing strays away from PPV/"PPV exclusive" things, the Better for the sport. IMO

Yep, this is a win-win across the board. Great match up, no PPV dollars, and insightful promotion.
OK, it wasn't as atrocious as Mayweather-Ortiz, Mayweather-Cotto, Bradley-Alexander, or anything with Pacquiao in it. Still, the respect between Marquez and Bradley kinda killed the fun stuff for me. It's great that they don't have any ****** beef, but Wladimir-Haye and Hopkins-Pascal were fucking hilarious because of the sheer amount of hatred on each side of that table.
