He "won" a stolen belt, skipped drug tests, outweighed cats by 20lbs on fight night, then your promoter confirms that he protected him and you don't understand the hate? SMDH

He won the belt, half the fighters are on PEDs, he makes weight, and his promoter was just being honest. He needed to be brought along slowly.

if he was'nt such an idiot trying to box sergio , i think he would've stopped him...he went the opposite of the gameplan for some dumbass reason ...

if he charges on sergio from the opening bell , he stops him ...

Ok he also beat Andy lee, Rubio and zbik. I'm not saying he's the greatest but he's come along way since being that kid with no skill living off his last name. Dude has a ferocious body attack. Can't take that away

Yup. If anyone can stand up to Golovkin's power at 160, it is Chavez. Perhaps Chavez can even force GGG back? I would definitely love to see this fight happen.

Why not Chavez Jr. vs Canelo?

I agree, I think Jr. is good, not great like his father, but good enough to bring other champions to their knees if he trains hard enough.

It's just a classic case of a talented guy who doesn't like to work.

If Sergio sticks around for a couple more years and they fight at 168 and...nah. Not even then.

Sergio is on the slide. If Junior can get a shot at him in another year or so he could win. Sergio needs his legs to win and they may betray him at that point. Although a Sergio who is healthy AND has good movement beats Chavez every time.
