WBC #3, IBF #9 and WBO #11 super middleweight Maxim Vlasov (26-1, 12 KOs), who has recently turned 27, will fight next this November, says KP Promotion’s Vice-president Nikolay Baklanov. Vlasov will be a part of the event, which is going to take place in Krasnodar, and will feature 44-year old ex-WBC heavyweight titleholder Oleg Maskaev (38-7, 28 KOs) in a rematch of his 2002 loss to Corey “T-Rex” Sanders (23-13, 15 KOs).
“Maxim is definitely one of the best (if not the best) Russian super middleweights. We are looking to put him with someone, who will give him fits and test his skills appropriately”, added Baklanov.
