Another Filipino boxers has been knocked out in a blatant mismatch by a former world two division champion.
Ronnel “Tarver” Esparas was knocked out in the third round by Thailand’s Sirimongkol Singwancha in a WBC Asia Boxing Council Continental welterweight title fight at the 13 Coins Resort in ****kok.
The Thai who was a former WBC bantamweight and later featherweight champion entered the ring with a record of 73-2 with 45 knockouts while Esparas who at 23 years of age was 13 years younger than Sirimongkol had a miserable record of 10-11-1 with 2 knockouts.
