Danny Garcia vs Mike Alvarado

Ok, now I know everyone is high on Danny right now but styles make fights. If Mike beats Ruslan Id say their resumes are pretty much similar. Size wise they match up. Danny has the amateur pedigree but Mikes has him on stamina. Career wise, itd be smart for Mike if he beats Ruslan to go after Lamont Peterson and unify the IBF/WBO titles to make a statement at 140 and I know the TR GBP beef would prevent them from ever actually getting it on but I think if you had a unified champ and an undisputed champ in 1 division itd definitely be up for debate especially considering GBP fighters are hypes.

Apparently he is, everyone was talking about how Danny was gonna get murdered but he whooped Matthysse 7rd to 5 + a knockdown. 3rd loss, although he was robbed against Alexander.

so everyone was wrong. it's not the first time. the fact that he lost to danny doesn't make him a lesser fighter, just a lesser fighter to danny.

He did get outboxed by Prescott but came back in a 10 rd fight to win after taking that thrashing. Matthysse couldnt fight with a swollen eye, Alvarado won with a swollen face and a lip hanging off. And the first Rios fight was a quick stoppage, then for someone to comeback after a TKO loss and put on a puncher/boxer effort and win a UD, that takes some serious mental and physical grit.
