Can't wait to see him back in the ring.
Looking forward to another Miguel Weigh-In?

I like Cotto but I am not so sure about him hiring Roach. Roach was amazing and was the best trainer a few years ago but I think Ariza was right about his health declining and affecting his ability to train fighters. I think Roach era has reached the end. I truly enjoyed it when he was at his peak.

After watching the video of this training session (and other videos with Roach) I'm worried. Cotto looks like he is going through the motions. Hope I'm wrong but I think he may be in for a rough night against a guy nowhere near his level.

Compared to other vids of Cotto mittwork in past years, this was his most energetic.

He's looking rough to me man. His punches don't look crisp, he doesn't look in shape...I'm just seeing something I don't like here. He looks like an old fighter to me. But I'm a Cotto fan so here's hoping he looks great under Roach and can bring us some more great fights before he ends his career.

Thing is which cotto will show up. I think no matter the trainer it won't change how he fights.

That's not true >.> He certainly boxes more now, but that's because he was with a Cuban trainer who just turned pro, he did amateur for 20 years. What Roach can do is clean up mistakes and refine his game, for example in the video he has Cotto's using angles that alone will help with his defense he won't be standing still with no head movement.

Really? I like what Roach is telling him, dig that left hook to the body, punch through the target. At times under Diaz, I felt like Cotto was moving too much and not setting his feet and punching enough. Let's see how he looks fight night. I think you're going to be pleasantly surprised.
