Your the one making excuses. I was just merely correcting what you said. What I said was facts. JMM moved up in weight and challenged FM to fight. Floyd couldn't make weight so he paid the fine and they fought. After the fight JMM was asked "Was the weight the issue in the fight". JMM said "No weight wasn't a issue, it was FM style. He doesn't like to engage.". Of course JMM is going to take extra money for a few pounds. No belt was on the line in this fight so it makes obvious sense. Stop trying to bull**** me because I can read through it all. I think Manny has a good chance in beating Canelo but the issue here is that this fight will not happen unless its at a CW of 150 pounds.

I'm a HUGE Manny fan and I voted Canelo. The size gap is just too much, there's a reason Manny moved back to welterweight after fighting Margarito.

Mayweather can compete at jr. middle because he's a defensively minded fighter first and foremost, his defense helps neutralize the weight gap because as long as he's not getting hit it doesn't matter what the other guy weighs.

Manny isn't that kind of fighter, he's offensively minded and does get caught in fights (albeit not too often unless you're Juan Manuel Marquez). He would take more than one Canelo shot....

...and let's keep in mind that Canelo is a BIG jr. middleweight! He's not Antonio Margarito who competed at welterweight for years and then moved up. Even with 2 pounds drained against Floyd he still came in at 165 pounds. That's a good 15 pounds above where we'd expect Manny to weigh, and again that's with a catchweight.

Manny has skills but I think size would lose him the fight.
