Is Froch vs Groves really a mis-match?

I don't get it...A lot of people don't give Groves a shot whatsoever. WHY?????????????????

Yes, Froch is obviously the favorite but I think Groves has the style to beat Froch. I don't know if he's tough enough though...and Froch will test his toughness big time so let's see what Groves is made off.

Groves is a young hungry and very motivated man who wants to prove himself and take his career to the next level. It's an interesting match-up and I will definitely not going to write him off. Groves is a very live underdog IMO.

It's not a mismatch. Froch has literally faced everyone that matters at 168lbs. So he has to start taking out some of the up and coming fighters.

Groves has that gay Adam Booth style that could give Froch problems.

I'm assuming he'll try to use the Dirrell fight as some sort of blueprint. Problem is that Dirrell didn't even do that good a job and Groves doesn't have the defence of Dirrell.

I expect Groves to maybe nick a few rounds before Froch eventually catches up to him. He'll probably do better than Bute I reckon.

I wouldn't go as far as to say it's a mis-match. Groves is untested at world level and he's jumping straight in at the deep end. I just can't see him standing up to Froch's power.

Not a mismatch, Froch is just a firm favourite.

I don't like the noise Froch is making at the moment, saying Groves doesn't belong in the ring with him and he doesn't deserve his shot etc etc.

This is coming from the same man, who as a British champion, and barely top 10 SMW, called out Calzaghe and called duck on him. He needs to remember that.

Froch was Calzaghes mandatory when he moved up to LH to avoid Froch, At least Froch is not avoiding a mandatory challenger.

Don't forget Calz fought some complete bums while froch was looking for the fight. Remember Evans Ashira and Manfredo!!! Froch would no way take fights like that ever.

Certainly not a mismatch, more of a calculated and daring risk by Groves.

I think it might be more interesting than people think but a lot will depend on how Groves tries to unpick Froch; his best bet is to be mobile and try to score with the jab as often as possible and pick the right moments to throw the odd volley of shots as Carl comes forward.

Looking forward to this one big time, more so than Fury-Haye.

...but if he can deal with Froch power then he has a very good chance to win this fight. I can't wait to see this fight.

Not a miss match but I think Froch is a firm, and rightly so, favourite.

I think Groves losing Booth is a big big loss. I think Groves will try & use his movement and to be fair it's his best shot at beating Froch but I think at some stage, Froch is going to tag him and Groves (who's temperament is always suspect) will want to respond and from there it's a game over.

Should be interesting while it lasts.

not a mis match in my opinion. froch is technically poor. he is a will over skill guy. groves is a good fighter with a good chance of winning this fight. i wouldnt be surprised if groves out boxes froch to be honest.
