Ariza is why Manny was able to go from 130-150..he was added right before the David Diaz fight right after Manny-Jmm 2 when the announcers thought we was done, then he went on his amazing streak...so yea he has the right to talk
Funny, people rarely remember this! During the Diaz fight, Jim and Emmanuel Steward were saying Manny is slowing down and maybe all the wars are starting to catch up to him, then comes Ariza and, bomb-Manny's career took an upward trajectory.
This prat is nothing but a glorified personal trainer! However, it's clear to see Roach's physical condition is deteriorating and thus could be responsible for his fighters losses.... or maybe not. Rios is going to get spanked anyway!

come on boy, you ma *****a n all but noway was Manny slowing down. Yeah he looked less fast compared to his fights with Morales and Barrera etc but they were at a lower weight, Manny was getting used to the extra muscle.
Maybe Ariza has a role to play in Manny moving up in weight more effectively but it's a far less contribution than milky Roach n yall know that. Roach taught Manny a few extra tricks to deal with bigger men.
Ya now Roach ain't got that same physical ability to train Manny as bets as he could but I just don't see Manny firing a guy who has been a father to him.
And in terms of Manny's career, his streak below 135 was more impressive than his streak above 135, minus Cotto (Manny's best win at 147 and one of the best performances in recent times).
Manny below 135 beat 3 of the best feather/superweights ever, and i mean, ever all time boy, Barrera, Morales and Marquez, those guys are some of the best ever. There hasn't been a fighter at 140, 147 or 154 over the last decade greater than those 3 mexicanos, barring ma *****a Floyd.
When Pac stopped following Ariza's training regimen, he actually looked better in the 4th Marquez fight (before the KO) than he did in the 3rd fight. The KO had nothing to do with strength and conditioning, he got countered by a great technician.
