What I find crazy is how fast New Jersey fired 3 judges after the Lara - Williams fight, and this will be just swept under the rug.

She isn't stepping down, she's taking a vacation. She didn't retire or resign at all, but more likely taking a break to allow things to cool over. There is nothing preventing her from applying for a judging license in the future.
