Was it just me or was there no hype for the Mayweather vs Canelo-Garcia vs Matthysse around here? All last week the talk was about the Eagles. I'm over here like "You know Garcia is fighting, right?"

This irritates me the most. When Hopkins became the oldest champion, people around here were talking about the Miami Heat winning the championship or something. Me personally, I don't give a **** what's going on in the next city. I thought BHops making history was supposed to be a big deal around here. I would have gone ham on Broad Street for that.

If it was still the 70's Bhop would of had his own statue and Swift would of been all over the local news because in the 70's boxing was still boxing and Philly never had a home grown world champ (I am not from Philly but have been in love with boxing since the 70's)

In Chicago, you couldn't be around your neighbors or your buddies without someone asking, "you going to the bar to watch the fight? You gonna order the fight? You watching the fight?"

You know how hard it is to find real knowledgeable boxing fans around here? It sucks!!!! The 4 major sports run this city. You could find a lot of boxing fans in the rican neighborhoods though. Mainly because of Danny. Not boxing fans but Danny fans
