I keep reading this sht over and over again? Please educate me on how Manny did not need to give Marquez the third rematch?

Fighting Pacquiao again, after feeling he's outboxed him and definitely knocked him out, just doesn't have the same appeal. I have no problem with that.
Manny was going for the kill till he got careless. Peedrinker is old he was showing that with Manny. I hope Bradley wins so Marquez can dream about what could have been his biggest payday.

But he don't want a Floyd rematch , he just stated Floyd is invincible and Nacho said you cant beat Floyd with a bat , they will lose and they know it , I can only see them fighting Floyd as a last big money fight , other wise Juan doesn't want to lose .
marquez would make a lot more money with a pac rematch than a floyd but hes too chicken ****. the old man was gassing out and getting ready to loose till manny got careless. easy money marquez come and get it

how can a prizefighter turn down his biggest payday especially if it might be his last. even a floyd rematch wont match half of that because nobody wants to see it. a few years down the road when he no longer makes money boxing he will regret not taking his biggest payday 2-1-1

easy. some people have integrity. it's happened before. shane mosley turned down a third oscar fight and instead fought winky wright who beat him.

i hardly think that jmm is hard pressed for cash either way, and I'm sure he's not making peanuts vs bradley.

If Marquez is a real warrior of the people like Pacman he will make Pac wait three years and fight him at 160. That is how you "give a rematch" right?

Not taking anything away from his win or his performance but we all know that was a savage fight for both men and I don't think Marquez wants to risk being put to sleep because he came mighty close to it. Bradley is a safer bet because there really isn't a ko history there or tremendous earth shattering power. Just say I closed that chapter in my life and I want to pursue other things that's sufficient enough...these other explanations make it sound like he was in no danger at all and we all bias aside know had the fight continued the worse it would've been for him. Hell look at the damage on his face when it ended.
20 years from now people will see 2-1-1

I see a lot of butthurts floydiots in this thread. No matter how you cry history will show it was 2-1-1 in favor of Pac (not to mention the admitted judge scoring error and it should be 3-0-1).

Marquez drinking his own urine didn't work against Pac. Marquez hired a notorious PED dealer Heredia he finally won.

Sorry after the ko all the credits will go to Marquez not to your coward boy. Cry all you want, it will never change the fact it was Marquez who ko Pac not Floyd in fantasy land. Thanks your coward and duck idol.

JJM is looking for excuses to avoid giving a rematch to a guy that give him 3 opportunities to redeem himself. He acting like he dominated Pacquiao in all those matches when the true is he got lucky with one punch the last fight.

The first time they fought Pacquiao closely beat him, but JJM was rewarded a draw. You can make a moral case for JMM giving Pacquiao a boxing clinic after being in such sink hole, but in reality Pacquiao put himself ahead by 4 rounds after scoring a 10-6 first round. Manny clearly won the following 2 rounds and clearly won one of the last rounds. For all you groupies, that's a clear 7-5 fight card where Marquez wins 5 rounds if you give him 2 of the close rounds.

The second time, Marquez did way better and still got closely beat by Pacquiao. Chanting victory because you considerably reduced the level of punishment that previously was inflicted on you doesnt make you an instant winner.

The third time, at first sight I trully believe JJM beat Pacquiao. I was so impressed by the way Marquez handled his business that I forgot how boxing its scored. It takes a minute to look into the context of the boxing judging rules to see why JJM lose a fight in which he looked so good. As great as he did, he allowed Manny to be the aggressor all night. He rarely, if ever, began an exchange that night. Had Pacquiao stopped taking the initiative, boxing fans would have end watching two boxers dancing around without throwing punches, because Marquez wasn't bringing the fight to Manny.

I do believe that Marquez clearly won 5 rounds in that fight, but thanks to his "I throw after you" approach he let go 4 close rounds that easily could have gone in his favor.

                      And last...The fourth fight!

What makes people believe that an epic KO should define the legacies of these two great warriors? It's not like JJM was dominating Pacquiao in that fight. I dont know how many of you saw that fight, but last time I checked Manny had JJM badly hurt and back peddling for his life. A fight where JMM was having his greatest start ever against Pacquiao and ironically he still was 1 point behind at the moment of the KO.

What makes JJM think that he got the best of Pacquiao when the true is, had not Manny recklessly rushed in with 10 seconds left of that round, Pacquio, probably, still would be celebrating his victory against Marquez.

I think is very unfair of JMM to avoid giving a redemption rematch to the guy that gave him 3 opportunities to do those.
