Nice try. the only one who wants to see the same horse get beaten is you and people like you with a clear bias.

The very fact you cant be happy for Marquez in his biggest win/performance of his career shows just how biased and hateful you are. That's what you don't get and that's why everyone is laughing at you in here, and in all the threads you post your little rants in. Any intelligent and objective person could agree that the fourth fight was a picture-perfect ending for such a dramatic saga, to even suggest to ruin it but continuing the process is both distasteful, and disrespectful to JMM.

In fact, the very fact that you can't respect HIS OWN WORDS on his own decision as a man, and a warrior at that, says more about you than you think.
you are the man good stuff said here straight up

There was a poll on ESPN, most anticipated fight of 2013, came in first. I'm not gonna dig it up for you, so whatever. But funny you find that surprising, it was a great fight with a shocking ending. Most people would want more, you must be out of touch.

Hey I get your second paragraph, and respect his right to go out on a high note. That means retiring there on the spot, it's never gonna be better. Not after Mike Alvarado.

Perfect picture ending? You mean Marquez being beaten up, dominated and hit with 50% of Pacquaios power punches?

"Manny Pacquaio landed 55% of his power punches in rounds 5 and 6".

A perfect ending would been either fighter dominating the other and then proceeding to KO them or win a unanimous decision. If you think being beaten up and for practically the whole fight then throwing a hail mary and it hitting is a perfect ending with no "what ifs" then you're simply a piss-drinker who is probably one of the people who believes Marquez should've won all 4

Marquez thinks he's the better fighter, but lost 3/4 of the fights (yes he lost the first, don't try dispute it). If you think a KO removes all your previous losses sorry, that's not how boxing works and never will. He's so confident, I'm sure he'd have no problem taking that confidence to the 5th fight and earning the best payday ever? Didn't think so. Instead he goes after the paper champion Bradley,

Screw Marquez; Pacquiao Would Certainly Have A Different Take On The First 3 Fights!

PAC made Marquez a very wealthy man giving him 4 fights of which he really never needed to give him 1 or 2. JMM whined, begged, and cried like a girl each time for another fight. He would have begged for 10, 12 fights until he got the one result that pleased him. Pretty gutless he can't extend ONE rematch to Pacquiao. He knows he couldn't win a 5th fight, and he can't live with that likely result.

You speak for all rational objective fans? Doubt it, most people without agendas would wanna see a repeat of last year's FOTY, as the polls showed. It's just natural, unless you're JMM's memory keeper
Well, we've covered "satisfaction" of knocking Pacquiao out and the "ambition" of a history making fifth title. We could add "pride". The pride that has a problem with being offered millions less than someone you feel you outboxed (fight 3) and knocked out. Career high or not, if you felt deserved 50/50, why would you take less if you didn't need the fight?

Again, Marquez has got the right to do as he pleases and money isn't the important thing right now. Why would anyone have a problem with that? There may be another FOTY in the offing but I respect Marquez enough to realise he's given enough to the sport. At 40 and 50+ fights, he can please himself.

It's not gonna be an easy fight and he will make less $$ with Bradley but he has never been known for taking easy fights & he is NOT all about $$, he actually likes real challenges.

I think he was slower in his last fight, Idk if it was because the fight was at WW or because he is just getting older but he will need speed for Bradley.

Again, ignorance just keeps coming back. Hiw did Pacquiao GIVE Marquez four fights when Marquez was defending HIS title in their first fight.

Also, if one brutal KO doesn't erase previous results, why do we need a fifth fight? Why aren't you and other rabid fans satisfied that Pacquiao won more fights, and move on?

Why not double the satisfaction and pride, for double your career highest payday? I'd understand if this was an unwinnable fight for him, but I'm mostly getting "easy fight" from his fans. So why linger on the old memories when you can make some more, easily and very profitably?

I get the parity argument, you'd think he'd have learned from this when he passed on 750k to go lose to John for 30k in Indonesia. Pac's next guarantee is 18m, so it was a 60/40 split, far from insulting.

Again, if it's about going out on the highest note possible, he retires after 4. If it's about legacy, Pac 5 >> Alvarado.
