Comments Thread For: Alexander: Every Time Amir Khan Steps Up, He Loses!

Devon Alexander and Amir Khan appear to be on a collision course for a December 7th showdown at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, NY. If the fight comes to fruition it will be televised by Showtime and serve as the final show of the year for the sky rocketing network (their December 14th show featuring Adrien Broner and Marcos Maidana will be a pay-per-view event).

In a recent conversation with BoxingScene.com, the 26-year-old Alexander told us that he doesn't understand why Khan is regarded as an elite level fighter. He said that every time the Briton faces a top fighter he loses. [Click Here To Read More]

Good thing he's not really stepping "up" - more like sideways.

um, the Garcia fight wasn't a step up, it was a last minute replacement.
The Peterson fight I wouldn't consider a step up as well, since Bradley would have been that, and Khan imo won the Peterson fight.

And Devon, you are far from a step up, more like a stepping stone.

GBP/SHO should call this fight "The Dislikes"... whoever wins, gets less hated.

Wasn't this article posted before, or did Alexander just say this again?

It's ridiculous coming from him. Alexander has lost every time he's stepped up as well.

Devon smoked Maidana but Khan had his hands full.

It's really a wash. They're both at the same level right now. I expect them both to be at the top of their game since the winner gets the big fight in May most likely.

Alexander's best win is Maidana who Khan already beat.

If anyone has lost every time they've stepped up, it's Devon.
