It seems many people think floyd might have a chance by hopkins's weight drain caused from moving down to 160. Well in this size differenses size is only a matter. Id be shocked if floyd takes 3more round against him

How do you think Hopkins would fight if he has to weight drain himself at 50? I don't see this fight being particularly desirable. It is only from the standpoint of pushing physical limits really because neither would likely be able to fight to their best ability.

I think hopkins would know better than me about what he do or what he might get from it He is a smart guy if he call a fight, he must be confident
Anyway i agree with that both fighters will never be at best what they got. I also think this is not a desirable one

I think he could make 160 easily and not be drained one bit. He fought at 160 for almost twenty years and went down to 156 when he fought Oscar. He was making 160 with no problem when he was 40 years old. A boxer does not gain muscle weight when they are over forty. They actually have less muscle weight. Just because Hopkins has been successful at 175 does not mean he can never return to 160. That is a myth. Hearns went up to 175 to win the a title there and then went back to 160 to win a title there and he was as strong as ever. It's just a matter of losing the weight slowly and properly.I really think Mayweather could spot him the weight and still beat him at 160 after I saw the way he beat Canelo with his father in the corner and a shorter time between fights. The Hopkins that beat Trinidad would beat Floyd in my opinion. The 48 year old Hopkins would lose. Hopkins would have no title to offer and if Floyd won many would say he just beat a weight drained 48 year old.If Mayweather won't go over 152 for Canelo he won't go 160 for Hopkins. It would probably be a poor fight to watch anyway but it won't happen. Instead of Ward and Hopkins both calling out Floyd at 160 for the big payday they should just fight each other at either 168 or 175.

Confident or looking to go out fighting the #1 p4p guy for Hopkins biggest payday. This match up almost seems like a joke I really like Hopkins but Floyd makes younger fighters look old I don't like to count hopkins out but I dont see this being a W if it were to happen

He apparently said this before his fight with Winky:
“Do you know what it took with this body for me to make 160 pounds all those years,” Hopkins asks rhetorically. “I went through torture for thirteen years to make 160 pounds. I’ve got a new body now, and it’s like driving a new car.”
canelo had to sit down before weighing in at 152. old man will need to get carried out and layed out on one of those large animal weighing scales (i can post links yet otherwise i'd have posted a picture) cause he won't be able to keep himself upright. i hope it happens tho, i wanna see how gb bullshts their way thru this promotion.
