Had that fight looked like Mayweather vs Cotto did clowns would have agreed with a draw or freakin Canelo actually winning!
There are even clowns here talking about how Canelo didnt really get schooled

Therefore the convetional wisdom going into the fight was "MAYWEATHER IS THE FAVORITE BUT IT WILL BE HIS TOUGHEST FIGHT" therefore Golden Boy really believed that and thought "OH FOR SURE CANELO WILL MAKE IT CLOSE AT THE VERY LEAST, FLOYD HAS LOOKED HIS WORST AT 154!"
