I get that the Matthysse fanbase was annoying, but now people are exaggerating the reality of the fight to fit their "in your face, I called it right" agenda, ignoring all the good work Matthysse was doing before the fight changing swelling of the eye(props to Garcia since it appears to have been punches that accomplished it) or the circumstantial condition that allowed the knockdown(shove+ropes, not questioning the call since it was in the middle of fast action, but those were circumstances that chances are wouldn't repeat themselves)

I'd still make Matthysse the favorite in a rematch, even though Danny is a good fighter.

Remember that a while back, people thought Mike Alvarado couldn't beat Rios in a rematch.

Now that the immediate post-fight troll-fests are slowly ceasing, people are actually able to analyse this fight properly. A re-match would be awesome, especially with Danny going in as favourite.

I actually wouldn't blame Danny for not taking this re-match so soon - he took a lot of sh-t beforehand, he proved a lot of people wrong and now a Mayweather fight payday is within his grasp.

What I find ridiculous are the posters on here who don't want to see a re-match at all. Mother****ers, when did you all become advisers? Don't you want to see great fights? Or would you rather keep gloating?

how is he a sore loser? i guess Mares is a sore loser too because he lost to a guy he thinks he can beat. Matthysse took his hat off to Garcia and gave him credit for the win. It was a close fight even with Lucas fighting with one eye for half of the fight. a rematch isn't at all out of line

its not that i dont want to see the fight again i just prefer seeing guys who have never fought before besides its not like golden boy dont have someone lets see garcia vs guerrero that could be good can u imagine the press conference?
