    Canelo vs Mayweather was more competitive than Chavez Sr vs Whittaker...just thought I'd put that out there.

    nah it wasn't. ppl forget the fight was pretty close going into the middle rounds and then whitaker pulled away. canelo wasn never really in this fight form round 1 onwards.

      disagree..Canelo was NEVER in the fight at all..Chavez was far from getting shut out in his fight with Whitaker..BUT Whitaker should have won that fight

        Yeah, the misconception with the Whitaker/Chavez fight was that it was a one sided schooling.

        Floyd schooled that kid. After round 1, I was like, "Canelo getting routed" to my buddies that were watching.

          It was a one-sided schooling. Not Mayweather-Alvarez one-sided but still one-sided.
