It actually works out for both fighters.

    Floyd vs Pacquiao May 3rd

Khan/Devon winner fights again somehwere near or after May 3rd vs Danny Garcia

Winner of that fight gives Floyd anther opponent (that would sell) Sept 14th....

I don't think Garcia will be sacrified just yet, he needs a couple more wins to build his fan base up. GBP will bank on Khan beating Devon so they get a Khan vs Garcia rematch @ 147lbs.....winner vs Floyd Sept of 2014.

It makes sense for both camps now. Pacquiao will get his final payday that he depretely needs.

Pac will need a bigger win than Rios, that's a joke of a fight

I think Pac should rematch Bradley after Rios, that will bring him back in to the forefront, he needs a win over someone young and rated, Rios is punch drunk and it's a joke that he got to fight Pac over Alvardo

still think arum, and especially hbo (isn't pac in contract with them or no?) won't let it happen. that plan you said sounds ideal though. pacman would make for a fun fight with mayweather still.

That's true, but I think if Pacquiao KO's Rios...it's still a blockbuster fight.

I'm very interested to hear some scenearios for Floyd next opponent. I'm just praying it's not Devon Alexander. I can't stand that guy. As much as I hate Khan, I want him to ice litle Devon.

if pacquiao destroys rios and stops him say under six, i think most people (especially casuals) will eat it up. i agree with you though, pacquiao should rematch bradley or get another solid win after rios before talking about mayweather/pacquiao again. sometimes things are rushed in this sport, so i wouldn't say a rios win for pacman would be too soon. i think people will start talking about pacman again after he beats rios. i still think arum won't allow it though (may/pac), and has the winners of marquez/bradley or alvarado if he beats provodnikov lined up for him next.

I'm sure casuals will eat it up, but Floyd will not unless he see's Pacman rising back from the ashes, a win over Bradley will get the hype train going once again, especially since Bradleys name is being thrown around as a potential Floyd opponent. He needs to take out these potential Floyd opponents before Floyd beats them

I fpac destroys rios (prob will) then most casuals would still eat it up prob -- the only fight out there that could produce the monster PPV at this point. It will be bitter sweet if it happens though knowing how much better it would have been 3 or 4 years ago. I actually think the fight would still be fairly competitive (as much as a floyd fight can be lol) ... pac maybe doing a little better than cotto did?

I think it'll happen in Sept 14. But Manny needs to get by Rios first and another fight after that probably for one of top ranks 140 - 147 wbo belts itll be against Alvarado or the russian that will build up a little buzz . Then the fight will happen and Arum can cash out , and maybe even get a Bradley rematch after.

The reason I say this is because it'll be like the Lewis vs Tyson fight which is like the 2nd or 3rd highest PPV of all time.its going to play out the same way. It doesn't matter if their past the primes everybody will watch the fight.
