Its not necessary to make any excuses, twas a good performance. You cant KO everyone. Although these days Floyd cant knock anyone out they're as dumb as Ortiz.

Another excuse that serves only to hide the fact he intentionally doesn't go for the knockout yet spouts that he's going to over and over again.

Yeah, floyd seemed like he had no idea what to say a couple of times. He got lost trying to say he took advantage of the opportunities given to him. But he had just come off a fight so I can kinda understand.

But I thought it was excuse making to a degree. He didn't want to just say he thought Canelo was trying to trap him so he didn't go for the KO. That would've been honest.

I dont think the injury was serious, it just probably deaded his arm for a few rounds, because by the way Pretty Boy Floyd was letting off them left hooks in round 11 he seem perfectly fine

Floyd said that it did not come from being hit on the arms. It was a hyper extension when Canelo held is arm and twisted it.

"The added weight made him look slow and awkward in the ring as he suffered the first loss of his career."

What is this BS, BS? He looked as slow and awkward as he ever does.

I actually forgot about this. Good posts fellas. Although I still think floyd thought canelo was trying to lure him in.

Floyd just put on a great performance. And an excuse is an excuse if the guy quit and Floyd did not quit. It is absurd to A) demand he KO a guy 15 pounds heavier and B) demand that he fight natural 160/168 fighters who come in at 170/174 but I still feel he would beat GGG and Martinez. He would nulify GGG and frustrate him and everytime Martinez put his hands by his side, Floyd would nail him with lighting leads. But if Mayweather stays at 147 or 154, no one should demand he fights guys who are 10-20 pounds heavier. Like I said, Canelo was not drained during training, weigh-in, or during the fight. He had a lot of energy and it showed but calculated science beats energy. The Canelo from Saturday was fighting a defensive Genius. If that had been a good number of other guys, those punches Canelo threw would have not only landed more frequently, they would have done more damage. A Chef reduces a sauce, Floyd reduces the opponent.
