Garcia has outgrown 147, he will be fine at 147.

Angel gets underrated too. He had Danny go with combos to Lucas' body when he came in, and tied him up on the ropes.

I don't know if Garcia would destroy Brook, but I would expect him to get a clear win. TBH, I haven't seen Brook fight much, but from what I've seen he doesn't seem to be "special".

I'm open to hearing other out though.
Brook is a solid fighter. Natural to 147. Has very good handspeed and throws short compact punches. He can fire inside of Garcia's shots. I'm not saying Brook (will) Win, but he is no slouch or no tune-up to any division newcomer.

Who has Brook beaten to make you believe he can outclass Garcia?

Kell Brook will pick up where Khan left off before getting caught with the hook

I can't say. Like I told you Brook throws short compact shots. If he gets inside Garcia's punches he can definitely win. Pick em fight.

I think if you have a realistic shot at Mayweather in May then Kell Brook is something of a tune-up unless he proves himself against top competition. As I said, I don't think Brook is a slouch, but I think Danny could effectively counter him and potentially even hurt him badly.

I also think that the expectations of a division kingpin should be high when they move up.

Thurman is apparently going to fight him sometime soon.

That's like saying who had Mickey Garcia beaten to show he can hang with Orlando Salido.....and we know how that turned out. Same thing when Mosley fought Oscar coming up from Lightweight and many other examples. Resumes don't fight resumes, fighters fight. Brook is a natural 147, a concise, powerful fighter and I see this as a 50/50 fight based on styles. The type of fight that headlines a Showtime/HBO card.
