Floyd's next PPV is gonna bomb.

Masterful performance by Floyd last night. But only hardcore fans will appreciate his boxing. Casual fans are gonna think twice before buying his next PPV.

Unless his next fight is against Pac. I see another Floyd-Guerrero type PPV sales.

We gotta see if they made a profit on this first.

If not than don't be surprised if SHO/CBS voids the 6 fight deal.

I agree with you, no one is interesting at this point other than Pacquiao, even current past prime Pacquiao is better than the B graders like Alexander, Bradley, biscuit chin Khan etc.

Looking at the updates on Facebook, the casual fans seem satisfied with the fight. I think it is a misconception on this site that the casual fans cannot appreciate his ability, for the most part they feel like they're watching something out of the matrix. The only time I've seen casuals complain about a Mayweather fight is when they say something that leads me to believe they are somewhat bias, for example their sentence is usually followed by them saying he is an arrogant ****.

His next ppv will sell about a mil.

Mayweather career can be over, due to lack of credible opponents, or let me rephrase that, due to lack of viable creditable opponent the general population will accept as a valid opponent.

Guerrero proved that Mayweather just cant fight anybody and still get his gurantee of XX million, Something has to change and I dont see Mayweather taking a paycut his pride wont allow it. So either Retire or Take the Paycut and keep fighting subpar competition (story of his life), Because Showtime aren't going to be accepting any ole opponents anymore.

Viable opponents that will make money

              1. Amir Khan - the brits or whatever they are, are just like Mexicans and they love their boxing.

              2. Victor Ortiz - The rematch will sell decent enough, especially since Ortiz gone hollywood

              3. and this is a big Maybe is a Canelo rematch if he can put together a string of some spectacular wins and be able to stay at 154 (highly unlikely)

and thats it, the only fighters that will be ppv worthy.

No other name will carry its own weight to help the sales.

this is utterly crap...seriously...May - DLH was a huge stinker...even for boxing fans and still the Hatton PPV sold nearly a million...then again the Marquez fight was a huge stinker for casual fans at least and it did sell over a mill just like the Mosley PPV after that...so where is this logic coming from? This wasnt the first time that May fought like he usually fights on PPV...
