Really, so Pac's competitive but Golovkin isn't?

It sometimes seems like folks who watch JMW and down don't watch 160+ (and perhaps vice versa), Floyd's really a 147 fighter, perhaps even lower, and fights perhaps a little over 150. Golovkin is generally accepted as the best fighter at 160 (despite the reasonable claim that he ain't fought anyone - few who watch MW believe that the Maravilla of today beats him) and fights at 170ish.

Course, I can't prove it to you, believe what you like, but unless you believe Floyd beats a Klitschko, you have to acknowledge he has a ceiling somewhere.

If you say he beats GGG, you're asserting that (by general consensus) he beats everyone at MW, and likely most of 168 as well. Does that sound realistic to you?

And people complain 'bout people hyping on Golovkin?

I'm a big GGG fan but I need to see more of him before I'm convinced he's ready for Floyd. I want to see him go the distance.

Golovkin is virtually a light HW

If you are going to throw his name around then why not add Froch and Ward to the list

Floyd is so damn good that people are looking for unrealistic matchups

Floyd needs to stay at 147.

He said he'd drop to 154, where Floyd is The Man. But I agree Floyd should go down to 147, not much for him at 154

            Virtually a light HW?

From what I can recall, he weighs anywhere from high 160s-low 170s (I don't think he has weighed more than 170). Canelo weighed 172 against Trout from what I can recall, so it isn't that absurd to include Golovkin on this list.

Ward won't even fight at 160 whereas Golovkin claims he can make 154 (don't know if he can), so you also have to take that into account.

Floyd is done at 154, at least i hope so,, this guy couldn't even make 150

GGG would struggle to make 154 and he would be drained even if he did

GGG should go fight Ward and move up in weight, there are many better opportunities out there for him

Floyd should go back to 147, where all big money fights are Pac, Khan, Bradley, Garcia, Devon, Broner, etc...

This bigger guy vs smaller guy stuff doesn't make for a fun fight.

GGG is a much bigger fella than Canelo

This guy doesn't belong in the ring with Floyd, we are heading to freak match up territory.

People want to keep pushing the bar to one extreme after the next with Floyd and he still doesn't get credit in some folks eyes.

GGG should go pick on men his own size

I agree, seeing Floyd was 150 fight night it's not something he needs to do. But then he should vacate and let Lara have a shot at that title, or even better, fight him instead of Khan (no chance).

For GGG or any of these guys, of course the Floyd fight is the most appealing, best money and exposure.

GGG likely will take those challenges, but I also think he would be more than willing to fight Floyd. Even if he is weight-drained I'm pretty sure he has a better chance than almost all of the names you listed.

You must be blind dude. Pac man would get destroyed. How pac man throw a lot of wild punches and has problems with counter punchers. i.e. Marquez. Marquez gave pac man problems And Mayweather is a much better counter puncher than Marquez. Pac man will get picked apart and ate alive.

Also Pacquiao vs Mayweather has no more luster in my opinion. Dude lost two straight fights. Stop it just stop it.

The only people who still wanna see those two fight are Mayweather haters!
