Did anyone else notice the shattered phone and he couldn't even get anything to stop the swelling? His corner had to use their hands to open up the eye lol. It's ridiculous how boxers have so many leaches on them. Either Lucas is being cheap or he's not doing too good financially.

I noticed/chuckled at the phone. Don't know if its a money issue, or he just doesn't give a f about a phone like a lot of guys and doesn't want to spend money on another one.
The eye thing is being overplayed. They had an enswell, tried it at first. It wasnt that effective, and they resorted to their thumb, which was pretty effective if we were to be honest with ourselves. The swelling was controlled, and you could actually see his eyeball.
Smh at all the excuses being made for matthysse. Fact is, Garcia was just the better man last night. He didn't fight dirty, but fought hard.
As far as money, I'm guessing its a combo of paying training/trainers expenses, and sending money back home to family.Comment

I just don't think Matthysse cares much about that sort of stuff and the swelling thing it did it's job in the short term but his eye is going to be whack for a while.
They did say he likes to hunt and fish so i bet he has some dope guns and fishing gear.Comment
