Quite dominant. Even my wife, who doesn't watch boxing, could see it. I was hoping Canelo would make a much better showing, though in fairness he didn't get steamrolled.

I gave Canelo 3 rounds at most and that was only because Floyd went into cruise control

Canelo didn't apply enough pressure, he was trying to be overly technical and you cant beat Floyd at his own style

Cotto had more success because he took more risks as did Hatton.

Floyd made canelo look like a sparring partner,,,

I dont think canelo was drained,, his stamina looked good,, he just couldnt find may, and floyd countered the hell out of him,,,,

It took about 3 rounds, but after that, floyd walked him down, pinned canelo on the ropes a few occasions, beat canelo to the punch, dodged canelo's agrressive punches,,

Great performance by the greatest active fighter

He was not just "edging the rounds" they were pretty clear cut for the most part. Canelo did land some left hooks to the body but Canelo was hitting mostly arms. His plan was to go to the body so obviously he was gonna get some shots in. Still was ineffective for the most part.

I can say I didn't score a single round for Cantnelo. That was a masterful performance by Floyd. While Cantelo has quick hands, his undoing is the cement he wears in his shoes. Combine that with the terrible footwork, and its no wonder he needs people to come to him. Dude was tripping over himself constantly. My favorite moment was near the end, when Cantnelo swung and missed, and Floyd looked over to where Cantnelos punch would have landed.

Canelos jab was catching Floyd alot clean but his power shots were going mostly to the body and unfortunately judges dont score body shots. I think canelo followed Oscars "blueprint" to a tea by jabbing floyds chest but seriously fighters need to stop listening to him. Floyd is a great amateur style fighter. A side from Castillo, the only type fighter that can beat Floyd is another amateur style fighter like a bigger version of regondeaux.
There's really no use in arguing against the obvious. People like you are always going to see what you want to see. You watched the fight with a bias. Canelo said it himself in the post figh interview, "I couldn't do a gotdamn thing with him, he's too smart".

Thats what I'm saying if u look at the scorecard u would think it was a domination. But watch the fight and c that Floyd only clearly won like 2 rounds. The rest he barely won them. The announcers specially Bernstein was on floyds nuts all night even when canelo blocked punches he would say Ooohh my god! What a shot by Floyd!! He's unstoppable!!
