I don't know if it will happen, but I don't think it would be ridiculous for Matthysse to get a shot at the Maidana-Broner winner. Doesn't Maidana want to avoid fighting other Argentines though?

Yeah, I'd be leaning with Thurman, but you never know. If he did beat Thurman, the hype would be there again.

Where do you all see him going from here? He was overhyped, but he has always been competitive and has a fan-friendly style. It's a shame that we still have the HBO/Showtime and TR/GB dispute since it would be great to see Matthysse take on the winner of Provo-Alvarado.

It looks like Lucas needs to start fighting more intelligently since he has some decent skills, but seems to be too focused on landing the big shot.

You're not kidding he was over hyped. lol He's still a top fighter in his division. Broner will probably fight him next year. That should be a good fight.
