At the end of the day he knows his son. Senior is one of the best trainers in the world and so is Roger simply for their work with Floyd.
Floyd Snr's impact shouldn't be overlooked....

Totally agree with the TS. Since Sr is back I don't think FLoyd received one clear punch and I think he didnt lose one round. I was a little skeptic at the beginning and thought they would not be able to work together again but damn I was wrong.
Btw, i watched the fight in a bar and could not hear Floyd's Sr advices between the round, can somebody tell my what he said ?Comment

I think there was a serious bttle going on with snr and roger...and you all are right roger didnt give any insight during his past fights snr is much more knowledgeable about reading his opponents and giving advice on the fly thats what floyd needs in his corner even in interviews with roger and senior you hear his understanding of the fight game with roger you dont get that.Comment

said he was fighting tight....
then 4th round... he told him to get in the pocket, bring his shoulder up
and give canelo a target because canelo was behind his guard not leaving a target for floyd....
that opened canelo up (because he started to throw punches at the perceived target), and floyd started countering and throwing combinations on the inside....Comment

sr wouldn't have had to say a word the entire time of the fight and it would have ended up the same. floyd is his own trainer.Comment

I think that telling Floyd to give Saul a target was the best advice somebody could do. It worked damn well and I cant believe Alvarez was falling into pretty much all the traps that FLoyd was setting. Alvarez gameplan was horrible, just horrible, I think it was probably the worst gameplan I've seen in a long time.basically he told him to loosen up after the 1st and 2nd round....
