I think this fight would be a great debut to see how Garcia looks at 147and after Malignaggi fight against Broner where he almost won this is a very good fight.

The jump between 140 and 147 is a small one. Garcia proved himself by beating one of the best fighters in the world. I don't think he needs to prove himself at 147. I am sure he would have no problem beating Paulie. He should be able to go right to a welterweight title shot with Broner. Ithink he would win.

It would be a decent New York fight and not a terrible first foray into 147 although I don't think that test would really show his long term prospects at 147.

Karass is not a huge threat that Garcia couldn't realistically handle. However, if Garcia were to lose that fight, it would be interesting to see what transpires.
