Could you guys imagine the prefight verbal exchanges between Garcia's father and Floyd Sr. or Roger? I dont give Garcia any chance against Mayweather, but the fight is worth making on this premise alone.

I see that as a tough fight for Garcia but I learned not to doubt him. He might still exorcise the "Ghost"!

Everybody is mentioning ortiz and guerrero, and they're all great fights but I doubt he'll fight any of them amd his getting may next. Think is a horrible fight, but danny deserves the shot. Besides, who else is out there for floyd to fight next? Maybe the winner of khan vs alexander, but that fight isnt even finalized yet. There's a reason why this fight was on the undercard and it was to give this fight exposore and groom the winner for a may showdown

That is certainly a possibility. Or they could have Danny take Canelo's old spot as the undercard guy to Floyd. He makes for great fights this will maximize his exposure. The casuals were already talking about Garcia at the whataburger yesterday after my trip to the movies. They know who he is now. Keep putting him on Floyd's undercards and you can build that fight up also. You know the kid is gonna make entertaining fights and will generate a buzz for the Floyd clash later. Give him a guy like Guerrero or Ortiz just cuz the casuals will recognize that guy and can compare his performance to what Floyd did. He will have no shortage of opponents in the near future. Obviously I'm assuming he's moving up to WW after pretty much cleaning out JWW.

Ortiz is irrelevant right now, why should Garcia fight him when he's coming off his biggest win? Garcia should either fight Floyd or a relevant WW.

Dancing w/ the stars + Expendables 3. Ortiz is still relevant to the public, not hardcore boxing fans. Ortiz needs a tune-up before he faces DG anyways.


I'd like to see DG v. Khan/Alexander winner, then Mayweather I guess. Or broner/maidana winner.
