Schaefer confirmed the rumor that had been floating around the boxing circles within the last week or so.

I like Gabe Rosado, but he's a Jr. Middleweight. This is a waste of time, another Golden Boy fighter, taking a real chance going in against a smaller guy...thanks to the promoter feud and Al Haymon school of business we are talking about this and not Golovkin Vs. Quillin.

I think he'll move into MW a lot better this time around. Did good against a small CW and he gets better with every fight. I don't think he'll win, but I think this'll go to a decision

I gotta favour Quillin, but don't forget Gabe was a big JMW, I think he's growing into MW just fine, except his power, which wasn't massive at 154 is definitely unspectacular at MW.

I also think Gabe is improving fight on fight, he only went full-time as a boxer at the start of 2012 after Soto-Karass - that's only 4 fights. I expect Rosado to give Kid Chocolate some difficulties, and it ought to be a sorta yardstick for GGG (despite the 'flu business). Hope Gabe gets a better payday than the initial stories indicate though.

Oh yeah, and the article also fails to mention J'Leons drug test failure and the changing of the fight result to a NC.

                  War Rosado.

PS Anyone know what happened to the Macklin rumours? After Quillin perhaps?

Not fair for Gabriel Rosado, less training time.
