It's clear that Garcia will be targeted next and then probably Rios if he beats Pacquaio.
There is only one fight the public truly want to see and that's against Pacquaio.
Offer Pac the 40 mil again and you know he'd take it.But I fear that Mayweather does not want that fight under any circumstances.

      With respect -
      1. Floyd does not need to stop anything..catchweight's included. He's the dominating champ and what he says goes...period!... and his legacy is already written by his stellar talent and unbeaten record. He could retire today and it would not be disputed except maybe by novice fans and Pac worshipers. Note: I'm a HUGE Pac fan but i am also a realist.
      2. Rio's will never beat Pac...not even in your wettest dream. Seriously
      3. Pac is NOT motivated my $$$ and never was. It's the will to win and being the BEST that drives him.
      4. At this point in his career don't you think that Floyd has proven himself? You really think that he fears Pac? Doubtful.

We all share a common love in Boxing and are bonded by the sport but too many people are in denial and refuse to use logic and clear thinking in their assessment of this wonderful sport. Also, we are all entitled to our opinions and i respect everyones viewpoint even if i debate their posts with sarcasm at times, so please do not take my rebuttals personally. Thats why i opened with "With respect". Peace!

Seriously? - Canelo is NO hype job and if you have ever watched his fights you will clearly see that is soooo NOT the case. He is still young and in my opinion has been moved along a little too soon in his career. He will be a great contender and offer lots of great future fights to the sport.

Danny was just great last night and again proved himself to his haters that he's no joke.

Floyd taught a master class but Canelo made a good showing of himself. You can tell he lacks some maturity in the ring with the cheap shots though.

Canelo is a fighter like many made by the promoters and is only a bluff. Is like Donaire always picking the best fights to make him win or look better, but, is nothing when he find a good boxer. Canelo is hiding from Lara for a long time because they wanted a big purse like this with Mayweather before. Is a shame to this sport what the promoters are doing preparing the fights

As for the main event I must say I'm getting tired on Showtime turning into the Mayweather Show when ever he fights, commentary was very bias just plain ignoring all the work Canelo put in just to slurp Mayweather off, the production team only showing replays of shots Mayweather landed but just totally ignoring Canelo's offense. Terrible night for boxing overall.
Unintentional low blows happen when fighters go to the body alot, especially when one fighters pushes the other fighter's head down. Its part of the game.

The fight turned into the Mayweather show because he dominated a younger, bigger, undefeated world champion; and made it look easy. The commentary team didn't pay attention to Canelo's offense, because there was none. Canelo was totally neutralized by a far superior fighter. Stop crying.

That was a brilliant performance by Floyd for the most part he stayed in the pocket and masterfully picked Canelo apart. I would be hardpressed to think of a round I could have given to Canelo.

Through the years I slowly have become a Floyd fan from his more mature persona plus performances like yesterday makes it hard for a boxing fan not to appreciate his superior skills. Plus it is much better to root and appreciate his skill than it is to want him to get KTFO.
                I agree completely!

Me too. I was surprised that he stood flat-footed a few times, and Canelo still couldn't catch him with anything except for glancing blows to the shoulders and elbows.

im a floyd hater and im mexican but ive been knowing about canelo and he is just not that good. dude never fought tough comp if he would have he wouldnt have been undefeated

how long was golden boy gonna protect this kid. they can have him lose to the likes of ishe, molina, lara or they can cash him out against floyd and have their finger crossed that he somehow pulled off. well we all know they choose the mayweather route

i really just dont understand how people got on that canelo train. i understand casual fans but i figure if you are at boxingscene than you are a hardcore boxing fan and you should be able to recognize a guy with **** stamina and guy that had been protected.

their was alot of blind canelo supporter here at boxing scene.
