Canelo performance vs Guerrero performance against Mayweather

Am I in the minority in thinking that Guerrero did better than Canelo? Canelo IS a boxer at heart so from that aspect he didn't get away from what he normally does, but for all the talk of having a plan B, C, and D I was looking for more adjustments on Alvarez's side(Not to say that is an easy thing to do going against Mayweather).

Ortiz outdid both. Honestly, I think he was the only who fought with the right mentality before the incident.

Right handed fighters that fight like canelo[very technical and textbook] are the easiest fights for floyd. Because floyd's defense is primarily to shut those fighters offense down. Unorthodox fighters with unconventional styles gives floyd more problem. Oh and being a southpaw helps too.

Canelo definitely did better he landed some good jabs and hooks to the body and up top on Floyd. He also had better defense, he didn't let Floyd bust his face up like he did to Guerrero.

However, none of them were impressive against Floyd. I had Floyd beating them both boy by 10 rounds.

Yea, I do actually think Guerrero gave Floyd more looks than Canelo did but Guerrero is a pretty versatile guy and Canelo while maybe the better boxer than Guerrero (in some aspects) I don't think he really has a bunch of different way he wants to fight at least on a comfortable level.

As for who did better, that really is who is the tallest midget sort of deal.

Look canelo did good, real good. But I've been telling people all along it would be like the Guerrero fight.
I think Guerrero is a better boxer but I think canelo would beat him. If that makes sense...

Guerrero did some effective work. The counters to the body won him at least one of the first two rounds. I gave him 3 and gave Canelo 1.

Alvarez was competitive in spurts and at least made it a reasonably decent contest. The Guerrero fight was about as tedious and dull as they come. Guerrero was never anything more than mediocre.

Canelo scored 114-114, come on man, it wasn't even close. Canelo at 154 beats G@yweather easy and he knows that, hence the 152 pound weight limit. Canelo is a real man, he made the weight, unlike G@yweather vs Marquez who purposely came in 2lbs over and laughed at it.

This right here. Ortiz was starting to put punches together against the ropes and we know Ortiz had the stamina to keep it up. I think Floyd will rematch Ortiz.
