I thought it was very, very close.

The Canelo hitting arms on those body combos is a myth and the 12th round was a 3 minute jog around the ring by May. I would have been completely fine with a decision for either fighter really.

That being said, the few rounds where Mayweather was completely dominate were masterful. He definitely was the better boxer and it showed. Alvarez's only chance was his size and power.

The only Mayweather fights I would like to see are an Alvarez rematch, Lara or Martinez. Preferably Martinez as they are the complete opposites of each other style-wise.

Forget 147. No fighter 147 and under will ever beat him. None of them compare. None of them have a chance.

Lara could make 147 if he had to in order to fight May! I just got think May would fight Lara for the simple fact that Lara is as fast as him and southpaw but it would be an interesting matchup and a true test for Floyd

Lara not a big name and isn't that good. Trout just lost. Pac just lost and doesn't want to fight anyway. Martinez is too old and will be "drained". Alexander will be bashed for being too green, Kahn is just a ****ing bum. Garcia is the only one YET he will be bashed on as Mayweather is just too damn good!

I was disappointed in this fight: Canelo didn't approach the fight in the right way, and Mayweather was him usual self ... potshotting, sticking and moving. Granted he's GREAT, but sorry, I didn't wanna watch a glorified sparring session after all that.

Canelo wasn't dominated in my opinion, but he was potshotted and lost something like a 8-4 type of fight.
