I'm here for the DG fans to $h1t in my mouth. Had lucas winning early. Not much to say, except very impressed by young swifty and highly disappointed in Lucas. His trainers did not emphasize the urgency of the situation, esp. after the eye closed up. Close fight, I had it a draw. I hope they run it back.

EDIT: also, huge props to angel garcia. What a bold game plan, executed very well (although the fight was messy and a bit dirty).

you have to be blind, it was a competitive fight but Danny clearly took the W.

Man. Danny actually did what canelo hoped for. He got in a tense situation and brought out his full potential. Much respect. Both guys will get nice paydays behind this. But danny has finally shut up all his doubters (me included). He is elite.

Talk about tainted victory. Danny low blowed his way to victory while Weeks looked the other way. Lucas was hurting Danny and basically had him on the verge of a KO before the eye closed. Even with one eye Lucas almost wins a decision. That knock down was total BS. He was in the ropes your suppose to hault the action when that happens. Tony Weeks is a disgraceful ref. That knockdown wuz the clear difference in the fight. Without that Danny loses on the cards. Should have been scored a 9-9 round and this fight was a draw. So that means Matthysse really won by a point cuz the knockdown doesn't count. He was about to knockout Danny & Garcia knew is so he spits his mouth piece out like a total coward.
