Alvarez might not have been born for this, but his entire career has definitely been built up to this moment right here. 2 years at least of hard work has been put into building and making this fight.

Looking for the old article that was posted on here from about 2010 if I remember correctly. Was Richard Schafer talking about this kid and how he could be a possible opponent for Floyd. Many, many people bashed Floyd even though it was clear that he would not fight that kid any time soon (at the time). Crazy that we have fast forwarded 3 years and it is here.

I'm past amped for this night, I'm almost overly calm. It's a bit unsettling.

Once both fighters are in the ring and they've been given instructions, it's usually when the butterflies and goosebumps kick in for me.

I don't think I've ever gotten that feeling before a Floyd fight though.
